Network security applications from GreenAppX enforce and track the provisions created for your company's underlying computer network infrastructure, policies adopted by the network administrator to protect the network and the network-accessible resources from unauthorized access and consistent, continuous monitoring and measurement of those policies effectiveness.
These network security applications start with authenticating username and passwords. Once authenticated, a stateful firewall enforces access policies to determine the services that are allowed to be accessed by the network users. Though effective in preventing unauthorized access, an intrusion prevention system (IPS) also helps to detect and prevent potentially harmful contents such as computer worms and malware from being transmitted over the network. The IPS also monitors suspicious network traffic for content, volume and anomalies to protect the network from attacks such as denial of service.
